As ontology development becomes a more ubiquitous and collaborative process, developers face challenges in managing multiple ontologies, including comparing, aligning, and merging them; maintaining versions; and translating between different formalisms. The uniform framework presented in this article assists users with these tasks by leveraging data and algorithms developed for one tool in other tools.
