This paper deals with physical modelling and more particularly with the particle-based modelling technique used by the Cordis-Anima modeller-simulator designed by the ACROE. Our goal is to show that is possible to model a rigid articulate system with a complex geometry thanks to this technique. We chose an example of this category that seemed to us to be the most significant (complex and complete) of this problem : a clockwork.
