Peter Meltz, KSG Kraftwerks-Simulator-Gesellschaft mbH
Due to the problems in maintaining software and hardware it was tried to port the individual software of two powerplant simulators onto new hardware platforms within a reeingineering project. The examinations that had been carried out surprisingly lead to the result, that the least risky, most economic and best result would not be achieved by reengineering but by newly generating the software on the base of actual powerplant data.
