A meta web search engine first sends the users? search requests to its referenced search engines. Then the results returned by these search engines are integrated by one result-integrating algorithm and returned to the users. The query precision, the query completeness and the response speed are directly affected by which result integration algorithm is selected. By analyzing the common result-integrating algorithms, this paper promotes several improved algorithms to improve the coherence of the search results.
