In the paper, we will give several existence conditions under which can occur different types of inconsistencies in a data, warehouse and we will propose a classification of these inconsistencies based on their sources. Every type of these inconsistencies can be best eliminated, or at least minimized, at various stages of building a data warehouse. We will also propose a methodology and a procedure both of which aim at the elimination of these inconsistencies.
