Impaq Information ManagementAbstract: The paper deals with the problem of evaluating the reliability of newly created software systems. It outlines the most important problems encountered in integrating reliability with testing and software development issues. We have embedded some of reliability analysis ideas into real software production of data base applications. The paper presents and discusses results of applying these ideas to three different projects.
