The knowledge of computer applications such as word processing or Internet-based communication is essential in most jobs. On the other hand, most of professional training programs for unemployed people contain a computer course for those who have never used a computer. Middle-aged adults present several difficulties in order to learn core computer skills, which must be overcome in order for these people to be able to handle basic computer applications successfully.
In this paper, we present a 50 hour program to teach computer skills for middle-aged adults.
