This paper presents a new deformation algorithm for computer graphics and animation applications. The algorithm is motivated by the mass-spring systems and the ChainMail technique and possesses advantages of both methods. It uses a one-step approach to find the deformation, and therefore is very fast. Simulation parameters can easily be chosen in order to represent deformation characteristics. The algorithm is applicable to various simulation applications and produces very promising results.
