Computer graphics lacks scientific foundation to make it an academic discipline. Science has been in search of invariants through various changes to identify the scientific truth to build theories on the invariants. A hierarchy of invariants is presented for computer graphics having cellular spatial structures as the core. Some application examples are shown for illustrative purposes.
