How can the Internet be used to optimize scheduling, both for the patient and the doctor? SchedNet is a system designed to address the need for a more convenient way for patients and providers to make, change and automatically update appointments 24 hours a day. With the explosive growth of the Internet and increasing users' access, it is vital to adjust common business processes and exploit ways to simplify customer interaction. It is the intent of this paper to demonstrate the substantial cost convenience and efficiency benefits offered by this system both to the service provider and their members, and their customers.
