The article deals with the problem of texture description. It presents a statistical approach. Specifically it introduces the use of first-and second-order statistics on texture color spaces. At the end we also give estimations of computational time complexities of calculations of parameters presented in this article and describe our experience on one application domain.This study is a preliminary reparation for application of these methods on medical images.
