One of the key problems in the Information Retrieval (IR) is a similarity measure. IR systems that can model human performance often make use of similarity judgments that are non-metric; but when the triangle inequality is not obeyed, most existing IR techniques are not applicable. We define similarity as epsilon-k-ball in this paper and we focused on algorithms which use this similarity measure.
