Stream-based continuous query processing fits a large class of new applications, such as sensor networks, location tracking, network management and financial data analysis. In this paper, we propose an efficient system called LeoXSS that processes complex twig patterns with OR-predicates and AND-predicates over XML document streams. In LeoXSS, a set of twig patterns is processed in a single document-order pass over the input document stream avoiding the post-processing of nested paths.
