Multi-party environments, like account communities, struggle with organizationally pre-defined information structures in corporate document repositories. Different roles work in different information structures according to their tasks and perspectives. The Semantic Desktop increases retrieval quality respecting personal information models, such as individual folder structures. The paper illustrates impact of different roles and document settings. The findings foster the discussion on integration of semantic technologies in document management enabling support of multi-party environments.
