An overview of several classes of association rules is given. It is shown that these classes have theoretically inter- esting and practically useful properties. The class of asso- ciation rules with the F-property is introduced. It is shown that association rules from this class have properties simi- lar to properties of the Fisher's test. Results concerning the association rules with the F-property are presented.
