The vast production of educational software has made more difficult for teachers to evaluate such products. This problem is increased when considering the limited effectiveness of current evaluation methodologies concerning the pedagogical and cognitive aspects in the evaluation process. In this paper, we demonstrate how the Conceptual Fields Theory, proposed by Vergnaud, can be employed to improve the evaluation process of educational software.
