In this paper, first we briefly introduce the conception of virtual reality, virtual reality modeling language and virtual reality technical application domain. We also analyze the current situation of the modeling language in the development of virtual reality technology. We then present some challenging issues in this area. We finally design a structure to implement an intelligent virtual reality system, and relevant components of the structure are depicted in detail. In addition, the potential applications of the system in the large-scale commercial domain are discussed.
