Comparing the traditional method, an automatic method to compute the classical fields based on genetic algorithms is purposed. In this paper, the measurement of phase?s volume fraction in multi-phase alloys is presented as the application example. The Experiment results show that this method can compute the classical fields of matter element model automatically and effectively.
