In the research of transaction management of mobile database, concurrency control is one of the key problems. In a high-quality mobile environment, the given approaches to concurrency control, i.e. 2PL and OCC, produced either too much blocks or validating failure.

Based on our previous achievement, ASGT (Active Serialization Graph Technique), we proposed a new schema, called TASGT, which can take advantage of the low-blocking rate and survive a large part of problems caused by the complex transaction structure. The theoretical analysis and the results of a simulator based on C++SIM have shown that the performance of TASGT outmatches an improved 2PL in most conditions of a mobile environment.
