The Latin American Test Workshop, held recently in Montevideo, Uruguay, was the occasion for the IEEE Design & Test roundtable on design and test education in Latin America. The roundtable discussions focused on undergraduate and graduate design and test edu-cation, industrial partnerships, and collaborative research with other parts of the international community. Much of the participants? discussion revolved around the educational requirements for design-and-test engineering skills that industry urgently needs and how to best meet those requirements.
