This paper proposes a kind of Service Selector, which is used for selecting the currently best services in a dynamic GGS (GIS Grid Services) Virtual Organization (VO) according to the combination of time-dependent Qualities of Services (QoS) such as recent CPU loads, available disk volumes and data update timestamps. The Selector utilizes an application-specific equivalence contract to define the equivalence relations among GGS, maybe from different vendors, dynamically. The prototype system is built on top of the Globus Toolkit 3.2 (GT3). The effects and performance of the system, evaluated through simulation, exhibits the benefits obtained by this selection approach.
