In this paper, we propose a new grid architecture that focuses on the pervasive delivery of content service. This grid structure integrates Web and P2P systems, and leverages on the respective advantages of these dissimilar sub-systems for better quality and higher efficiency of content and application delivery. We implemented the Content Grid architecture using Globus Toolkit 4 platform to illustrate its potential performance benefit.
