Abstract: This paper proposes a lightweight methodology for transforming a client/server application into a distributed web application. In particular the emphasis is on the standardisation of both code and documentation and quality issues are also considered. Action research techniques were used to develop the methodology and understand the systems requirements of a housing organisation.
